The Department of Public Finance at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University was established in 2021. In addition to the core courses of public finance—such as public finance theory, fiscal law, fiscal economics, budgeting, and fiscal planning—the department also offers courses in economics, business administration, accounting, and law, providing students with opportunities to develop themselves in a broader academic and professional spectrum.
Currently, the department has a total of six academic staff members: two Professors, one Associate Professor, two Assistant Professors (PhD), and one Research Assistant.
The primary objective of the Department of Public Finance is to equip students with the necessary knowledge and competencies to attain high-level positions in both the public and private sectors, particularly in areas such as Tax Auditorship, Bank Auditorship, Budget Expertise, Administrative Judiciary, Court of Accounts Auditing, Capital Market Expertise, and District Governorship. In line with this goal, the department focuses on enhancing students’ analytical and research capabilities.
